Flashing lights for level crossing
Wednesday, 2 December 2009
Flashing lights have been installed on a level crossing in
Lyndoch, South Australia.
The crossing on Jollytown Road, which was previously marked by a
stop sign, was selected for an upgrade under the Boom Gates for Rail
Crossings program.
Nationally, the $150 million program is funding the installation of
boom gates and other safety measures at 292 level crossings by the
end of June 2010.
This project was delivered by the South Australian Government.
