New facilities open at Middlemount Community School, QLD

Middlemount Community School located on central Queensland’s Peak Downs recently held the official opening of their new multipurpose school hall.

The new multipurpose hall, funded under the $16.2 billion Building the Education Revolution (BER) program, a key component of the Nation Building-Economic Stimulus Plan, will provide brand new facilities for the coeducational school.

The BER provided $2 million in funding to Middlemount Community School under the Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) element of the program for the construction of the new hall and a further $200,000 under the National School Pride (NSP) program for classroom refurbishments.
