Refurbished facilities for Aspect Central Coast School, NSW

Aspect Central Coast School, located in Terrigal on the NSW Central
Coast last week officially celebrated the opening of its refurbished
school facilities.
Aspect Central Coast School provides educational services for
students with autism spectrum disorder across the Central Coast
region. The base school at Terrigal has classes for children aged
from 3 ¾ to 12 years, providing a K-6 educational environment.
The school, which currently has 40 students, received $75,000 under
the National School Pride Program for the refurbishment of its
playground and another $850,000 under the Primary Schools for the
21st Century element of the Building the Education Revolution for
the refurbishment of three classrooms and an administration office
area.
The refurbishments were officially opened by Robertson Federal MP
Belinda Neal, who praised the work of the school, which she said
helped foster the children’s special gifts.
