Fraser Coast Anglican College, Hervey Bay leads the way

The first completed project under the Building Education Revolution
(BER) Science and Language for the 21st Century (SLC) program has
been officially opened at Fraser Coast Anglican College in Hervey
Bay.
The school recently opened their new Language Centre and celebrated
the opening of their new state of the art library which will allow
students to access a wealth of technology including thousands of
reading titles.
The College received Nation Building-Economic Stimulus Plan funding
of $200,000 under the National School Pride (NSP) element of the
BER, $3 million under the Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21)
element and $1,714,000 million under the Science and Language
Centres for 21st Century Secondary Schools (SLC) element of the
Australian Government program.
College Principal Tony Wood and Chair of Council David Buckley both
thanked the work of many people who had contributed to the
development of all three projects and the funding provided under the
Nation Building-Economic Stimulus Plan.
