Completed upgrade to Warwick Saleyards, QLD

The regional community of Warwick, located 130 kilometres south-west of Brisbane, has celebrated the official opening of the Warwick Saleyards upgrade.

The upgrade was funded under the Australian Government’s $250 million Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program and completed in partnership with the Southern Downs Regional Council.

The $188,626 upgrade included the installation of a new automatic gate system for automatic drafting and the redesign of new cattle/sheep yard arrangements in order to maximise space and safety.
