Students at Aranda Primary School are making the most of their newly installed sporting facilities provided under the Australian Government’s Nation Building-Economic Stimulus Plan.

The Primary School, which opened in 1969, is located in Aranda, at the western foot of Black Mountain, Canberra.

The primary school received $150,000 under the National School Pride program for the installation of an outdoor multi-purpose rubberised sports court. The project is now complete and provides a safe and modern space for students.

The school also received $2.5 million in funding under the Primary Schools for the 21st Century program for the construction of a new resources centre, including library and IT facilities. Work is well underway on the P21 project with civil works and in-ground services now in progress.
