Construction company Taipan Construction, Adelaide, is feeling
the benefits from being awarded two projects under the Primary
Schools for the 21st Century (P21) element of the Building the
Education Revolution.
Taipan Construction is building a new hall and library at Two
Wells Primary School under Round Two of P21, and a new classroom at
Basket Range Primary School, under Round Three of P21.
As a result of being awarded the Two Wells Primary School
project, Taipan Construction has been able to employ two additional
staff, one of which is an apprentice, and also purchase a new skid
steer loader. The company is also using local sub contractors and
tradespeople.
At Two Wells Primary School demolition work is complete,
underground services have been installed, and earthworks have been
finalised in preparation for footings and foundations.
“The round three project will enable us to capitalise on the
systems which we have implemented to carry out our Two Wells Primary
School project,” said Business Development Manager, Mr Kyle
Williams.
