New hall almost complete at New Lambton South Public School, NSW

New Lambton South Public School located in New Lambton, Newcastle
received $2.5million under the Nation Building-Economic Stimulus to
build a new multipurpose hall and covered outdoor learning area.
School Principal Gail Cornford and seven of the eight school
captains and leaders recently welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister
Julia Gillard to the school to tour the building site of their
nearly complete new hall.
The new hall and covered outdoor learning area are being constructed
with funding from the Primary Schools for the 21st Century component
of the Building the Education Revolution.
These projects are in addition to $150,000 in funding provided to
New Lambton South for minor refurbishments under the National School
Pride Program.
