Hello, I’m Julia Gillard, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education.

The Government’s $42 billion Nation Building – Economic Stimulus Plan is a plan to support jobs and stimulate local economies.

It’s also an investment in school infrastructure that will benefit our children and our children’s children.

Through Building the Education Revolution we will invest $14.7 billion in schools so that we have the libraries, multi purpose facilities, science and language centres needed to ensure world class facilities in our schools.

Thousands of projects are taking shape across Australian schools. These projects will vary in size but each will be equally important.
