My note will focus on bringing you the real economic story, without any hype or drama. It will be a candid snapshot to help inform you of the state of the global economy, current developments on the global stage and the realistic prospects for and impacts on Australia.

I hope you will find it a valuable way to keep up to speed with what’s happening in the Australian economy during this difficult global recession.

With national unity and with purpose, acting on the best available information, there is no reason we can’t emerge from this global recession stronger and more prosperous than before.
